The Anglican Church of the Resurrection, Mingenew, is part of the Parish of Dongara - Mingenew and the Diocese of North West Australia. The first part of the church building was consecrated on 18/6/1904 by Bishop Riley, with the additions of the porch, chancel and vestry consecrated by him on 29/8/1909. In the early days of the parish the minister had to travel extensively on bicycle and horseback to visit his parishioners. This included conducting services on stations, in settlements and towns in the region. The shortage of funds and droughts added to the stress: they were truly saints. The church celebrated its centenary on 4/5/2003 and its 110th anniversary in April 2013. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 22/06/2015 & 20/9/2021.
