The former Harvey Uniting Church closed in 2010. The church had been part of the Western Australia Presbytery of the Western Australia Synod of the Uniting Church in Australia. The present cement block church building was erected in 1954, replacing an earlier 1923 timber structure, which had been erected by Mr Joseph Johnston, a coach builder and carpenter for the church trustees. The first building used by the church was a Mission Hall built in 1895, near the Harvey Hotel. The 1954 building was undertaken by the trustees on behalf of the Methodist Church, which became part of the Uniting Church in 1977. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 05/06/2015.
