Comments

The former Big Bell Catholic Church is a ruin, without any roof. Big Bell is a ghost town in WA, established in 1936 as a mining town, but declined with the mining fortunes. By 1955 it had been abandoned. No details are known about this ruined church building. The town is reported to have had three churches, at one stage - Catholic and Presbyterian in Paton Street and Methodist in Townshend Street. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photograph uploaded 5/12/2016.
