The former Christ Church Anglican Church, Sebastian closed on 18/12/1982, and the property was sold. The church building had been erected and opened in 1909, and dedicated by Bishop J D Langley. Services had previously been held in the Mechanics Institute. Unfortunately the property was destroyed by fire in 1998.
