The former Terip Ruffy Uniting Church, Ruffy was destroyed by bushfire on 8/1/2026. It had been part of the Presbytery of North Eastern Victoria and the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania. It was founded about 1894. The brick church building was opened on Sunday 25/4/1976. The last service held in the church was on 14/12/2025, a Christmas Service followed by afternoon tea. The next service was scheduled for 11/1/2026, but the buildings were destroyed three days earlier. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited.
