The former Mooroopna Uniting (Methodist) Church is now closed, and the property was sold in 1988. The building was erected for the United Free Methodist Church and was opened in 1879 by the Rev Isaacs. It amalgamated with the Wesleyan Methodist Church in the 1900s and became part of the Methodist Church, which in 1977 became part of the  Uniting Church in Australia.
