The St Bernard's Catholic Church, Lake Bolac is part of the Parish of Ararat and the Diocese of Ballarat. It was the first church building erected in Lake Bolac, and constructed from locally quarried bluestone. It was completed in 1874, and consecrated by Bishop Gould of Melbourne. It was replaced by the current brick St Bernard's Catholic Church building in 1961. The bluestone building was demolished in 1963. More historical information/photographs of the current and original church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 11/03/2016 & 28/2/2022.
