Foundation stone laid by John Bon, Esq., of Wappon, Bonnie Doon on 26/10/1866. The text on the foundation stone is not known. Information/photographs are invited.

A poster in the back of the church records: Tuesday 30th, John Bon - a local squatter of Wappan Station will be laying the foundation stone. (Probably meant Tuesday 30/10/1865 as the church was opened in 1866. Wappon Station is now under Eildon Dam). Also see:

A plaque records: To celebrate - 140 years of worship - in this building - service was conducted by - Rev Jason Kioa, UCA Moderator - Sunday 7th October 2007 - To the Glory of God.

A plaque on the pulpit records: This pulpit was for 35 years in Chalmers Church Melbourne - & was presented by The Sisters of Charity - to Mrs Anne F Bon of Wappan - who presents it to - The Presbyterian Church Mansfield Dec 1898. Also see:
