The St John's Anglican Church, Malmsbury is part of the Parish of Kyneton and the Diocese of Bendigo. The first church service in Malmsbury was conducted in Mr French's store by the Rev James Sullivan from Kyneton. A school opened in 1857 was later used for services but soon became too small. The present church building, began in 1861, was opened on 28/1/1866 by Bishop Perry. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photograph uploaded 16/12/2023.
