The Kernot Memorial Uniting Church building was opened on 8/6/1957 by the State Moderator, the Right Rev J Hadden-Bates. The building is erected on land donated by the Henry Family, in memory of a son lost in WW II. Prior to the church building, services had been held from about 1918, in the Kernot Hall.[Sounced from: https://www.waterlinenews.com.au/files/Waterline-News-May--Website-Copy.pdf]. The church celebrated its 60th anniversary on 4/6/2017. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 28/11/2016 & 19/3/2021.
