The Kernot Memorial Uniting Church building was opened on 8/6/1957 by the State Moderator, the Right Rev J Hadden-Bates. The building is erected on land donated by the Henry Family, in memory of a son lost in WW II. Prior to the church building, services had been held from about 1918, in the Kernot Hall.[Sounced from:]. The church celebrated its 60th anniversary on 4/6/2017.
