The former Irrewillipe Uniting Church has closed, and the property has been sold (2002). The church had been part of the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania. The church building was initially built for The Bible Christian Church, and opened on 24/1/1886. It became part of the Methodist Church at Union in 1902, and part of the Uniting Church in 1977. The building had been erected on land donated by Mr William Bottrell, with other parishioners contributing money, materials and labour.  More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited.
