The former Cavendish Uniting Church held its final service on 3/12/2023, and the property was sold (2024?). The church had been part of the Presbytery of Western Victoria and the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania. The present church building was opened in 1938 for the Methodist Church, which became part of the Uniting Church in 1977. The present building replaced an 1860 structure. The church had served the local commiunity for about 85 years. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited.
