The Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Coleraine is part of the Parish of Glenelg Wannon and the Diocese of Ballarat. In 1850 Dr Russell was sent by the Bishop of Melbourne to the District of Wannon to establish churches in the area. One of those established was Holy Trinity, which held its first service on 4/11/1866. Over the years many additions and alterations have been made to the building, including the erection of the chancel, the installing of three stained glass windows and various internal furnishings, as memorials to Dr Russell.
