The Epsom Community Church is a member of the association of churches known as the Baptist Union of Victoria. The Methodist Church began worship in the district in the 1850s, on a tree stump in the open air. The present church building was erected by the Methodist Church in 1959 to commemorate 100 years of worship in the district. In 1977 the Methodist Church became part of the Uniting Church. In 2012 this church became a member of the BUV. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 14/2/2023.
A personal note received by email on 22/7/2026 from Shirley Turner. "My father - Herbert Green (Green Bros) built this church in the late 1950s. My late husband (1947 - 2026) and myself attended youth group in the 1960s I was a Sunday school teacher. Some of our family were christened there including myself and my daughter. My husband (Max) and I were also married at the Epsom Methodist church in 1966."
