The Kangaroo Flat Baptist Church (formerly the Kangaroo Flat Baptist Fellowship) began with three families on 1/2/1976, first meeting in a private home and then the Kangaroo Flat Y M C A Hall. It was constituted as a Church on 7/12/1980, with a membership of about 29. The existing building was purchased from the Uniting Church (formerly the Kangaroo Flat Presbyterian Church) on 2/6/1986.
