A plaque records: This vestry was dedicated - by - +Allen, 2nd Bishop of St Arnaud - October 22nd 1972 - as - A Memorial to the Founders - of the Church - and was - built by present members of - St Paul's Carisbrook. - Building Supervisor: The Rev'd K Smith - Rector: Canon John A Leaver.

Comments

The former St Paul's Anglican Church, Carisbrook was part of the Parish of Maryborough-Avoca and the Diocese of Bendigo. Early Anglican services were held in the district from about 1851. The present church building was opened in 1866, and served the community for 149 years, until it was deconsecrated in October 2015. The property was sold in December 2015. No other details are known.
