The Terang Presbyterian Church is part of the Presbytery of South West Victoria (and functions in conjunction with the Camperdown and Noorat churches) and part of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria. The church was originally planned to replace a wooden structure on the same site, by the early pastoralist, John Thomson. However, he was killed in a buggy accident at Noorat before the church building was completed. His widow saw the building finished as a memorial to him, and known as the Thomson Memorial Presbyterian Church. It was opened on 21/10/1894. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 31/01/2016 & 25/2/2026.
