The former St Mary's Anglican Church, Lexton has closed, and the property has been sold (5/2023). The church had been part of the Diocese of Ballarat. The first Anglican worship service in the district was held by the Rev John Cheyne in 1950. The present church building opened about 1875, having been erected on land donated by Mr William Grayling..
