The Brown Hill Uniting Church is part of the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania. The church had its beginnings in a tent meeting in 1855. Two years later a chapel was built, with the present church erected in 1869. The church celebrated its 160th anniversary on 15/11/2015, with guest speaker the Moderator, Dan Wootton.
