This former Tarnagulla Uniting Church is now closed, and the property was sold about 2001. The church building was opened on 19/6/1864, but due to a slump in gold mining shortly after opening, it had difficulties continuing to function. For periods it was closed, later to be opened as a mission station, then as fully functioning charge. It finally closed around 2000 and the property was subsequently sold.
