The St Colman's Catholic Church, Balaclava is in the Parish of Balaclava and the Diocese of Melbourne. The present church building was opened on 1/12/1929 by the Apostolic Delegate, Dr Cattaneo. The first church building was erected in 2000, with an enlarged building opened on 30/11/1913 by the Archbishop of Melbourne, Dr Carr. The church was renamed St Colman's on 7/9/1939.
