The NewHope Baptist Church, Blackburn North. The first Baptist church in Blackburn North was opened as the Middleborough Road Baptist Church, diagonally opposite the current church site. After the move to the current site the name was changed to the Blackburn North Baptist Church, and subsequently changed to the NewHope Baptist Church.

Recent extension and renovations were completed in August 2018 and officially opened on 24/11/2018
