Comments

The former Southern Presbyterian Church, Taranna closed in 2004 and the property was sold in 2009. The church building was transported from Tunbridge to Taranna, in 1972, for use by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, a small denomination founded in Tasmania about 1961. The building had originally been erected in 1886, at Tunbridge, for the St Matthew's Presbyterian Church. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 3/5/2023.
