The St Peter Chanel Catholic Church, Smithton is part of the Parish of Circular Head and the Diocese of Hobart. The church building was opened in the 1970s, when it replaced the 1934 St Attracta's Catholic Church, which had been erected in Emmett Street (see separate entry - 7330). No other details are known.
