The former Ross Uniting Church has now closed and the property has been sold (2023?). The church had been part of the Presbytery of Tasmania and the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania. The present church building was erected on land donated by Mr Thomas Parramore. and opened in 1885, for the Wesleyan Methodist Church. It became part of the Methodist Church at Union in 1900 and part of the Uniting Church in 1977. The present church building replaced an earlier Wesleyan Chapel located nearby, which had been completed in 1839. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 17/06/2016.
