The Immanuel Lutheran Church, Truro is part of the Barossa North Lutheran Parish in the Lutheran District of SA-NT and the Lutheran Church of Australia. The church had its genesis at a home meeting on 20/1/1937, where a decision was taken to hold regular church services in Truro. These began on 2/2/1937. The first church building was opened on 25/9/1955, having been built on land donated by Mrs B Rudiger. Until the church was built, services had been conducted in the Institute. Due to funding constraints some desired features had to be foregone in the final building. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
