The Whyte Yarcowie Uniting Church is in the Goyder Ministry Area and is part of the Wimala Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of South Australia. The church building was officially opened on 23/9/1877 as The Wesleyan Chapel in Yarcowie. In 1929 the town changed its name to Whyte Yarcowie. The church became part of the Methodist Church in 1900 and of the Uniting Church in 1977. Before the church building was erected, earlier church services were held in Mr Howe's private home, flour mill and a bookshop. More historical informaton/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photograph uploaded 4/2/2024.
