The Former St Philip's Anglican Church, Port Broughton has closed, and the property has been sold(2016). The church was in the Diocese of Willochra. Anglican services were held in a railway shed before the church was opened on 11/8/1886, by the Venerable Archdeacon George Dove. It was consecrated on 1/11/1889 by Bishop G W Kennion.
