The St Jude's Anglican Church, Port Elliot held its first service on Christmas Day 1854, although the building was not complete. It celebrated 160 years of Christian witness to the community in 2014. The church was built on land funded by Mr T W Higgins and Mr Thomas Jones, another member of the church building committee, designed the church and hall. The church building was consecrated on 5/3/1870. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 7/2/2020.
