The St Mark's Anglican Church, Penwortham is part of the Parish of Clare and the Diocese of Willochra. The church was opened on 30/11/1851, although not completed until 1855. Prior to the erection of the church builidng worship services were held in an old mill. The church building was not consecrated until 1910. A cemetery adjoins the church, and contains the graves of early area explorers/settlers.  More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
