The St Peter's Anglican Church, Peterborough is part of the Parish of Jamestown and the Diocese of Willochra. The church held its first Peterborough service in September 1884 in the old Union Church. It then purchased the Union Church building in December 1884 and it became St Peter's until the present church building was opened on 22/1/1889, by Archdeacon Dove.(see separate Union Church entry - 5422). The extension to the building was opened in November 1913. The church celebrated its centenary in 1984. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 3/2/2024.
