The St Augustine's Anglican Church, Port Augusta is part of the Parish of Port Augusta/Quorn and the Diocese of Willochra. The first church structure began in 1868, with its first service held on 24/7/1870, although the building was not complete. Extensions followed and were opened in 1878. The transept was completed and opened on 25/6/1882. The building was consecrated in 1883. The church celebrated its centenary in 1982.
