The Christ Church Anglican Church, Port Augusta West is part of the Parish of Port Augusta/Quorn and the Diocese of Willochra. The present church building was opened on 28/7/1940. It replaced an earlier wooden structure which had been opened in April 1891. Earlier church services had been held in a wool store. The church hall was opened in 1857.
