The St John's Anglican Cathedral, Murray Bridge is the seat of the Bishop of The Murray Diocese. The Diocese of The Murray was created in 1970 and is the newest diocese in Australia. The church was consecrated on 4/2/1887, became a pro-cathedral in 1979, and was elevated to cathedral status in 2002. No other details are known.
