The former Morchard Uniting Church closed after its final service was held on 21/9/2010, and the property was subsequently sold. The church had been part of the Wimala Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of South Australia. The church building had been opened on 28/9/1924, and replaced an earlier building, located next door, which had become too small. The church building was opened by the Rev John Dingle, who had been the church pastor about forty years earlier. The earlier building was opened about 1893 (see separate entry Morchard Methodist Church - Former - 5431). The Morchard Methodist Church became part of the Uniting Church in 1977. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 1/2/2024 & 25/8/2025.
