The former Prince of Peace Anglican Church, Lobethal has closed, and the property was sold (2023). The church had been part of the Parish of Onkaparinga Valley and the Diocese of The Murray. The church building was originally erected/opened in 1876 for a Lutheran congregation and known as 'Zum Kripplein Christi" [Christ's manger]. The Lutheran congregation amalgamated with St Paul's Lutheran and the building was sold. The building was bought by the Anglican Church and consecrated on 3/8/1919, as the Prince of Peace Anglican Church.
