Comments

The former All Saints' Anglican Church, Farina closed, and the building was sold in 1967. The church had been part of the Diocese of Willochra. The former church building had been opened debt free in 1890. However in line with the decline in the town, adversely affected by the extension of the railway line, which demoted Forina to just another stop, the congregation also declined.  When the church was closed the altar was donated to the Leigh Creek church and the font to Carrieton. When Carrieton closed, the font was donated to the cathedral in Port Pirie. On 24/6/2015, the Rev T J Briggs and volunteers visited the site to bless the remains of the church building1. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 27/7/2025.
