The St John's Lutheran Church, Cambrai is part of the Mid Murray Parish (with St Martin's, Mannum; Pilgrims of Zion, Sedan; Trinity, Palmer; St John's, Forster and Zion Evangelical, Milendella) in the SA-NT District of the Lutheran Church of Australia. The church was originally known as Hope Lutheran Church, but changed its name about 1967 to St John's, when it was joined by the congregation from the other St John's Lutheran church in Cambrai, when it closed (see separate entry - 5353). The present stone church building was erected about 1904, with the brick addition in 1963. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
