Comments
The former Arthurton Uniting Church is now closed, and the property listed for sale (May 2022). The earliest Wesleyan services in the district were held, on an irregular basis, in private homes until the first Wesleyan Chapel was erected/opened about 1876, on a site donated by Mr D Henderson. The present church was erected in 1894 and opened free of debt on 3/2/1895, with the Rev J D Langsford preaching the opening sermon. No other details are known.
