Comments

The Kalangadoo Methodist Church closed in 2008, and the property was sold to a local person with family connections to this former church. Built of hand-made bricks by Llewelwn R Davies, a farmer and trustee, it was opened in 1906. A special train was organised to bring members/visitors to the opening. It became part of the Uniting Church in 1977, and ceased functioning in 2008. The building is now used for a weekend market for the people of Kalangadoo. A coffee shop operates in the church building at the same time - enjoyed the coffee and social contact with the operator (18/1/2014). More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 4/3/2017.
