The Hawker Uniting Church is part of the Wimala Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of South Australia. The present church building was opened by the Rev Carter of Port Pirie, on 2/11/1884. It was built for the Wesleyan Methodist Church, which became part of the Methodist Church at Union in 1900, and part of the Uniting Church in 1977.  The current building replaced an earlier wooden structure erected at cnr North-West Terrace and South-West Terrace in 1880. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 29/1/2024 & 30/7/2025..
