The Lucindale Bible Chapel appears to have begun in the current church building after it was acquired from the Uniting Church in January 2021. No other details are known about the Chapel. The  Uniting Church held its final service in this church building on 31/3/2019. The earliest Wesleyan Methodist service in Lucindale is believed to have been held in October 1888, with periodical services from then on. The first church building on the site was a galvanised iron structure, erected for the Methodist Church, and opened on 2/9/1906, although not fully complete [the Methodist Church was formed in 1902 from the amalgamation of a number of Methodist denominations, including Wesleyan Methodist, Primitive Methodist, Bible Christian Church and United Methodists Free - a number of which existed in the district]. Prior to the opening of the 1906 building, the Wesleyan Methodist congregation met in nearby settlements and the Free Presbyterian Church building. When the current church building was opened on 16/6/1963, the original 1906 church building became the church hall. More historical information/photographs of the church/chapel/congregation(s) are invited. Photographs uploaded 23/12/2023.
