The former Appila Uniting Church closed some years ago, and the property has now been sold (2019?). The present building was erected in 1958, and  replaced an earlier structure, erected/opened about 1875 for the Wesleyan Methodist Church. It became part of the Methodist Church at Union about 1900, and part of the Uniting Church in 1977.  No other details are known.
