Before this church was built in 1955, services were conducted in Dick Clark's old picture theatre - often by Brigadier Gray from the 'Rocket Range'. Built at a cost of £1,000 which was raised by the comunity, the church is for all religions. In Jan 1978 a mini cyclone badly damaged the church, deroofing it. The repairs cost $900. Regular services are held and all are welcome to attend. Service times are posted near the door. Peace be with you all. |
