Comments

The corner stump for the church building was blessed in late 1904 by Fr Phil Corrigan, who deputed for His Grace, Archbishop Dunne who had taken ill. The church was built on land purchased by Archbishop Dunne and gifted to the parish. The church building was completed and officially opened in April 1905.
