This former Sacred Heart Memorial Church, Redcliffe building is now privately owned. The land was first purchased for a church in 1897, while Robert Dunne was Archbishop of Brisbane. A wooden church was erected and opened in 1899. A larger brick church, the current building, was erected and opened on 23/7/1967 by Archbishop O'Donnell. The site also contained St Joseph's Convent School, later named Our Lady Help of Christians. More histotrical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited.
