Comments
The All Saints Anglican Church, Rolleston was opened and dedicated by the Rt Rev Fortescue Ash, Bishop of Rockhampton on 10/6/1934. The timber for the building was sourced from surrounding homesteads, given by their owners, and cut in a sawmill established by the Rev Pike, including the timber for the pews. Soon after coming to Springsure in 1931 as the parish's new rector, the Rev E J B Pike resolved that Rolleston needed its own church. He worked tirelessly to bring this about, including by liberally putting his own labour and resources into the task. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
