The former Mutdapilly Lutheran Church was opened on 29/3/1869 by the Rev E Heiner. The church building was erected on donated land, with much of the construction effort being carried out by the local Lutheran Community. The church was built in about 6 weeks. It closed about 1976, after over 100 years of service to the local community. The building was subsequently relocated to Harrisville, where it is now a private residence. A cemetery is located across the road from the former church site. It is a general cemetery, but the area closest to the old church contains many Lutheran graves1. More historical information/photographs of  the former church/congregaton are invited. Photographs uploaded 22/10/2022.

Photo probably taken during early/mid 1970s. The church had been extensively remodelled and extended over time, so this isn’t the original building from 1869.
