Comments
The Living Water Uniting Church, Mansfield is part of the Presbytery of South Moreton and the Uniting Church Synod of Queensland. On 1/9/2025 the Broadwater Road Uniting Church combined with Living Faith Uniting Church (330 Pine Mountain Road, Carina Heights - see separate entry - 4152) to become Living Water Uniting Church. It now operates over two campuses, with worship services conducted at the Mansfield centre and community activities at both centres.
The Broadwater Road Uniting Church, Mansfield began in the early 1990s. It was formed through the amalgamation of four Uniting Church congregations:
- St Paul's Uniting Church, Upper Mount Gravatt.
- East Mt Gravatt Uniting Church,
- St Peter's Uniting Church, Upper Mount Gravatt, and
- Trinity Uniting Church, Mountt Gravatt East
A new church building was erected to meet the needs of the new congregation, and opened on 22/3/1992. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 13/5/2021.
